Chatham has 6 Parks all located within
walking distance to Downtown.
CHASE PARK
|
Located on Cross Street, Chase Park is very unique as its main feature is a bowling green. There are picnic tables, benches and a restroom. |
THE OLD GODFREY GRIST MILL
|
Adjoining Chase Park, built in 1797, used to grind grains was donated and moved to this location in 1956. Open July and August.

KATE GOULD PARK |
Located between Main Street and Chatham Bars Avenue. Known for its world famous Chatham Band Concerts each Friday night all summer long. This park has a bandstand, benches and restrooms. |
SEARS PARK |
The triangle in the middle of Seaview Streets and Main Street features a Civil War Marker in memory of the thirteen fallen men fron the
Rebellion 1861 - 1865

VETERANS FIELD
|
Located between Route 28 and Depot Road it is lighted for the NCAA team the Chatham A's. The Robert Leathers playground adjoins the field, as well as another ball field, basketball hoops and a playground area. There is parking behind the school, the Veterans field and the Elementary School / Community Building off Depot Road. There are portable restrooms in the summer.

WILLIAM NICKERSON MEMORIAL PARK

Is located next to the rotory at the intersection of Route 28 and Main Street. This is a great place to sit on a bench. |
